National Association of Realtors India 2011 Convention

If you are asked to name a single industry today that can function without the support and association of the real estate industry, you would at a loss of words. Simply because there exists no such industry. The world as we know it is changing and the pace of growth has been leaving many businesses in the dust. Real estate in India makes an enormous contribution to development of the economy, national growth and GDP. Real estate has forward and backward linkages with over one hundred and sixty five industries and is the largest employment generator, perhaps only after agriculture. However, despite the significance of this industry, it has always remained a very disorganized one. In steps NAR-India to fill in the gap

At the National Association of Realtors India, we recognize this need of the hour to shape up and gear up for the hyper speed of the future. We live in a world where smartphones are as powerful as super-computers that once occupied an entire storey of a building! With the level of technology that the common man is exposed to, the standard modus operandi of the real-estate broker is seeing a revolutionary change; one that has been embraced and encouraged by the National Association of Realtors India. Increasing the number of qualified professionals amongst real estate consultants is the top priority for NAR India as education stands at the top of the priority list. India has several thousands of realtors or brokers operating in over 35 metropolitan cities. NAR-INDIA has been fashioned not only as a single national level umbrella organization representing the interests of thousands of realtors/brokers operating all over the country, but also an organization which aims to elevate the standards of practice of the real estate brokerage business to a global level where ethics, transparency, accountability, rule of law and good governance prevail.

NAR India is looking at how corporates and customers behave and think on a day-to-day basis through the Internet which is today a big conversation space & digital playground. To encourage the growth patterns that are setting the business world ablaze, NAR India organizes an annual convention inviting interaction and real-world networking amongst various industries to which the real-estate industry plays the role of an ancillary. Apart from this of course the main draw for every real-estate broker in the country is the attraction of being a part of the only association that is internationally active and maintains a strong global presence. Real Estate Consultants are privy to the oppurtunity to join NAR-Global as an International REALTOR member. Only NAR-India members are entitled to join NAR-Global, giving one legal access to the REALTOR logo and trademark, access to the largest online real estate library in the world, a searchable global online directory and discounts on other products and services. Only members who belong to local city associations which have entered into a formal bi-lateral relationship with NAR-India can join and take advantage of this exclusive opportunity.

The upcoming NAR India 2011 3rd Annual Convention at Hyderabad, hosted by APRA (Andhra Pradesh Realtors Association) in the month of July promises to be the biggest realty convention of the year in India with over 1000 delegates from all over India and abroad. The delegates will include Realtors, Builders, Architects, Lawyers, Investors, Venture Capitalist Firms, Equity Funds, Financial Institutions to name a few. The two day event promises to be full of activities such as educational programs, EXPO, panel discussions, brain storming sessions, cultural activities, special ticketed events, etc. which will culminate into a gala closing ceremony. Get busy. Get real and be there!
